Barcomb-Trowbridge Post 6714 Takes Part in Big E Opening Day Military Appreciation Ceremony
Post 6714 members were proud to take part in the opening day Military Appreciation ceremony at The Big E on Friday, September 18, joining a crowd gathered at the Massachusetts State Building to honor those who have served.
Members were honored to stand alongside Governor Maura Healey, State Senator John Velis, State Representative Mike Finn, and West Springfield Mayor Will Reichelt, who came together to recognize the service and sacrifice of our nation's veterans and active-duty military. Opening day at The Big E has long been a tradition of thanking those in uniform, and it was a privilege having the opportunity to represent our community on such a meaningful occasion.
Post 6714 thanks the Governor, our local legislators, city leadership, and the fairgoers who stopped by to shake a hand and say thank you. Events like these remind us that our community continues to stand behind its veterans.
